"cross delivery" from the hole
"field of scissors" from the hole
Some very disturbing news, this morning we received an anonymous photograph accompanied by a message from an individual claiming to be on the other side of the mail slot downtown at the local Baltimore post office. Here’s the message:
"Today, while performing my job as an envelope inspector at the downtown branch of the United States Postal Service, I noticed that a collection of parcels with your return address had appeared to have been opened and then subtly sealed back again, without much of a crease or marking. I’ve observed packages in transit for more than a few years, and from my experience I could tell that this was no ordinary ‘slash n stuff’ prank. After a little probing of the parcel collection I found that each had received the addition of something quite peculiar. I’m not sure what to make of it. Seems to be some kind of political statement printed on paper? Thus I have forwarded to your return address this image of what I believe to be the beginnings of some kind of conspiracy."
I’m startled by this information and not sure how to react, but it’s quite a chilling image no matter how you frame it… I hope that all the orders that have been sent out make it to their final destination.
Just mailed out the first batch, batch of WEIRD5 orders. The issue came together in a very smooth. Thanks to USPS for delivering all of my hopes and dreams by firm hand. Kiss your local postal-worker on the cheek. Gently cough “You’re kind of a big deal. Don’t believe me? Ask our clients. They would be lost without their mailbox.” This world is made accessible through the hard work of our governmental bodies and institutions. Help support the US government’s continuous struggle to work for its citizens. EVERYDAY we try to make the situation better and more appropriate. The stakes are high and the ceiling is low.
